Henry County Kentucky VINE Coverage
VINELink is the web and app doorway to Kentucky VINE. The Kentucky Attorney General also documents a telephone route at 800-511-1670. It can give housing and release information and, when a person is no longer in custody, a release date.
Henry County has no verified operating jail with one county roster. Historical county records instead document housing in Carroll, Oldham, and Shelby Counties. VINE is useful because a search can follow the person to the receiving county. Facility participation and record availability still must be checked because no official source supplies a Henry facility-by-facility participation table.
Kentucky jail and state-institution events can appear. Federal BOP custody does not. A transfer notice means the custodian changed, not that the person returned to the community. An escape event is also not lawful release.
Search Henry County VINELink Records
Start with the person, not an assumed Henry jail. A Henry arrest may lead to an out-of-county receiving facility. Namesakes are common, so a result needs more than a matching name.
- Open VINELink and select Kentucky.
- Choose the custody search and enter a name or offender ID.
- Try an alternate spelling if the first search fails.
- Compare middle name, ID, charge, and facility before choosing a record.
- Open the matching record and read its event label and date.
- Contact the facility to learn whether an exit was into the community or another custodian.
If several results remain possible, do not register on a guess. First identify the receiving jail through Henry arrest or court information. The Henry County released-inmate lookup explains the broader custody check.
Henry County VINELink Release Fields
Fields depend on the agency and record. Read the status and event together. Never fill a missing field from an unrelated roster.
| Field | What it can establish |
|---|---|
| Name or offender ID | Which person the record concerns |
| Custody status | Whether the feed lists current custody |
| Facility | The reported custodian when available |
| Release date | The date reported when not in custody |
| Event type | Release, transfer, escape, or another change |
| Alert methods | The delivery choices offered for that record |
VINE is not a certified discharge. The jail transaction can provide actual time, authority, and destination. Court records explain the legal order, while KOOL and Daily Releases serve DOC-managed cases.
The official VINELink interface is shown below as the relevant successful manifest capture.

The state-selection and search entry point illustrates why Kentucky must be chosen before matching a Henry County record.
Register Henry County Release Alerts
Registration is anonymous under Kentucky's published guidance. Available methods can include phone, text, email, TTY, and app notices. Keep registration details private.
- Open the verified person's record.
- Select release, transfer, escape, or another offered event.
- Choose an available alert method.
- For phone registration, create a four-digit PIN.
- Enter the PIN when VINE calls to stop repeat calls.
- After an alert, ask the facility for release type and destination.
Kentucky says county-jail release calls repeat every 30 minutes for 24 hours or until acknowledgment. Anticipated state-institution release may be announced up to 72 hours ahead when possible. The published TTY line is 866-847-1298, and operator help can reset or cancel a forgotten PIN.
Henry County VINELink Limits
VINE data can lag, fail, or omit a record. It does not replace a jail transaction, court order, or KDOC discharge record. If an alert lacks a destination, ask whether the person went to the community, another jail, KDOC, a detainer, or another authority.
BOP has a separate locator for sentenced federal prisoners. ICE has its own limited current and recent-custody locator. VINE also does not show the full court result or final end of supervision. Use the system matching the actual custodian.
Henry County's VINE Notification Bridge
Henry's cross-county housing model makes transfer alerts unusually important. A search limited to Henry as the housing location can fail even when VINE has a record under the receiving county. If a name search fails, try an offender ID, alternate spelling, and the confirmed county.
PIN acknowledgment stops repeat calls. It does not change custody or acknowledge legal notice for the confined person. Written KDOC victim notification is also a separate qualified process, not the same as anonymous public registration.
Note: Pair a VINE release date with the facility record to distinguish community release from a transfer or detainer handoff.
Troubleshoot Henry VINE Results
If a name search fails, try the offender ID, alternate spelling, and the actual receiving county. Henry may not appear as the housing location. When several people match, compare middle name, identifier, charge, and facility before registering. A namesake alert is not confirmation.
If a release alert arrives without a destination, call the facility. Ask whether the exit was to the community, another jail, KDOC, a detainer, or another authority. If a projected state date changes, update alert contact details and rely on the executed custody event.
VINE is event-driven. A transfer alert is especially important in Henry because it prevents roster disappearance from being mistaken for release. Registry address alerts are different and are not jail-release alerts.
Confirm Henry VINE Release Dates
Pair a VINE date with the creating agency's record. The jail can document exact exit time, type, and destination. The Henry court file may show the bond, dismissal, sentence, probation, or revocation order behind the event. For a DOC case, Daily Releases supplies release type and released-from facility.
If sources conflict, preserve the screenshots or records and their update times. Ask the creator to correct its own record. Do not average dates or treat several copied listings as separate proof.
Henry VINE Telephone Details
Call 800-511-1670, locate the person, choose an offered event, and register up to two numbers where supported. Create a four-digit PIN. Entering it during the alert acknowledges receipt and stops repeats.
County-jail release calls may recur every 30 minutes for 24 hours. Anticipated state-institution release may be announced up to 72 hours ahead when possible. These are notice rules, not promises that a projected event cannot change.
Text, email, TTY, and app methods may also be offered. Operator help can reset a PIN. Anonymous registration means the confined person is not told, but alert details should remain private.
Henry VINE and State Records
VINE centers on custody events. KOOL centers on state custody, supervision, and projected-date searching. Daily Releases supplies a DOC event report. A formal request provides deeper discharge or calculation records.
Use a DOC or PID number where possible. A field-office location means community supervision. An absconder marker concerns compliance and does not prove a new jail booking or final discharge.
Henry Alerts Need Facility Confirmation
A not-in-custody response can give a release date, but the facility record supplies the legal type and destination. Ask whether the exit was bond, time served, dismissal, sentence completion, transfer, DOC pickup, or detainer handoff. A release alert alone cannot answer that distinction.
When the court and VINE differ, remember that an order can precede physical processing. Another hold may remain. When VINE and a roster differ, ask whether one feed refreshed sooner. Preserve the event timestamp and the facility's response.
No public tool guarantees a complete historic archive. Request the jail transaction or KDOC record when the exact date, time, authority, or final discharge matters.
Kentucky's written victim-notification route is separate from anonymous VINE registration. Eligible requesters work with KDOC Victim Services and keep contact information current. BOP also has a restricted notification system for qualified participants. Neither should be presented as an open public mailing list. The Kentucky Sex Offender Registry is another separate system. Its address-area tracking concerns registration in or out of an area, not a new jail-release event. Return to the custody agency whenever the question is the release transaction itself.
Note: Save the alert time, then obtain the facility's release type and destination.
